Dear Sisters, This year will be new and dynamic for our chapter. We will be emphasizing the educational aspects of our organization along with our regular events. This year we would like our Sisters to encourage new members. We hope to have seminars on computer skills. At our meetings, I will introduce a fun way to learn more about our Greek Heritage. Come and learn and have fun and also do serious work for the Daughters. Letter from our Daughters of Penelope Elis 89 President 2017-2018
Dearest Sisters, As we begin the second month of our DOP year, I invite you to join us at our next meeting October 22nd after liturgy in the small hall. I'm praying that this coming year will show a growth in our membership as well as a greater participation at meetings. I invite all of the ladies of our community to join the Daughters of Penelope as we embark on our Hellenic programs and projects of scholarship, charity and fund raising. Daughters please bring a friend with you to our meeting. The Daughters of Penelope are a secular organization that contributes to those in need in our Community, Western District and Nation. Anyone that wants to support American Democracy and Hellenic Culture can join. Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings; and, you do not have to be Greek to join us.
